Monitor & Protect #BLUEEARTH

The Surfrider Foundation is an environmental organization whose mission is to protect the world's oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. The Beach Water Testing Fridays (BWTF) program was first introduced in Rincón in 2007 - weekly sampling of coastal waters - and since that time has expanded this monitoring for beaches and other bodies of water from Isabela to Añasco.

Access to Technology Education SOLVES COMMUNITY PROBLEMS

In today's world, technology is one of the fastest growing sectors of our economy. There is a sizable gender gap in the number of women pursuing STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) degrees and careers when compared to men. Get involved in supporting girls in technology in Puerto Rico, created by dev46 Girls Tech Academy, a PR 1101.1 and IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to strengthen our community through geeks, innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit.
